Riley, founder of Parkoball Training, operates a custom high performance basketball gym in South Morang. Many of his members are elite athletes who play in Australia’s top leagues and in the USA. Running four to five training sessions every day, the surface needed to handle intense high volume use while keeping athletes comfortable and safe.
Riley was aware of both established providers and a number of less reliable backyard operators in the market. Riley’s main requirements were clear:
- A durable surface capable of enduring heavy daily use
- Safe and comfortable playability that would reduce the risk of strain or fatigue
- A cost effective solution without compromising quality
A Transformed Facility
After understanding the requirements, Sports Courts Victoria introduced Riley to our Slam Man™ Elite performance tiles. Achieving a high quality tile at an extremely competitive price is usually difficult, but Slam Man™ courts were the standout choice. Much of the installation was prepared in our warehouse for accuracy and efficiency, with the edges custom cut onsite to suit the exact floor plan. This approach delivered the fit, feel and reliability the athletes needed.
Since completion in May 2025, the feedback has been nothing short of amazing. Members consistently comment that the grip and footing are exceptional, providing excellent responsiveness while still feeling comfortable under foot. After five months of continuous play, the surface remains in brand new condition, with no injuries, strains, or fatigue reported. Riley and his members agree that choosing Slam Man™ Elite courts has been nothing but positive.
