Ballarat Grammar

Ballarat Grammar recently partnered with Sports Courts Victoria to upgrade their indoor sports facilities with a durable, high-performance surface. Completed in July 2024, the project involved the rapid installation of a 16m x 30m multi-sports court inside the school’s gymnasium, designed to handle the daily demands of school sport and physical education.

To meet the school’s needs for durability and minimal disruption, we recommended our Slam Man sport court tiles — an ideal solution for high-traffic environments like schools. These tiles are known for their strength, consistent ball bounce, and low-maintenance surface, making them perfect for multi-use indoor spaces.

Over just two days, our team installed 5,400 Slam Man tiles in alternating shades of blue and light blue, delivering a fresh, modern look that’s also functional. The precision of our modular system allowed us to move quickly and efficiently, keeping interruptions to a minimum.

Multi-court line marking for basketball, volleyball and badminton

As a true multi-sports court, this facility required a complex layout of line markings to cater for different activities. We marked:

• A full-size basketball court in white
• A full-size volleyball court in black
• Three badminton courts in yellow

Each marking was carefully measured and applied to ensure compliance with sporting standards, allowing students and staff to confidently switch between sports.
