Portland Indoor Cricket and Netball Centre

In May 2025, Sports Courts Victoria completed a major indoor court upgrade for the Portland Indoor Netball and Cricket Centre, transforming a dated carpeted floor into a high-performance, multi-use surface. With multiple sports played under one roof, the new 625m² court needed to be tough, versatile, and fast to install — all without the expense and disruption of removing the existing base.

Modular sport tiles installed over carpet in one day

The facility’s original surface — a thin indoor carpet — presented a challenge due to removal costs and time constraints. Our solution: Slam Man modular sport court tiles, installed directly over the carpet to avoid delays and disposal expenses.

In a single day onsite, our team laid 6,730 Slam Man tiles in a vibrant pattern of red, light blue and charcoal blue, giving the court a bold new identity with professional performance.

Multi-sport line marking for netball, pickleball and more in Portland

Designed for a wide range of activities, the court now features:

• A full-size netball court
• Four pickleball courts
• Space adaptable for soccer drills
• Area compatible with the indoor cricket bowling machine

This setup allows the Centre to run multiple programs throughout the week, increasing participation across sports and age groups — all on one surface.
