When the world’s best riders gathered for the 2025 MotoGP Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island, the excitement extended far beyond the track. Sports Courts Victoria, in partnership with Blu Event Productions, brought a new kind of precision sport to the heart of the event with a custom Shuffleboard court designed and built to entertain and engage fans throughout the race weekend.

A Fresh Take on Fan Engagement

Set alongside the energy of world class racing, the Shuffleboard court introduced spectators to one of the fastest growing social sports worldwide. While MotoGP delivered high speed action on track, our installation offered a moment of skill, strategy and fun just metres away.

Visitors could challenge friends, learn the game or simply enjoy the competition in a relaxed setting. The setup proved that a professionally designed court can create a standout attraction for events of any scale.

Built for Performance and Impact

Blu Event Productions approached Sports Courts Victoria with a clear vision: deliver a Shuffleboard experience that looked incredible, played perfectly and could withstand outdoor conditions across a full race weekend.

To achieve this, we used Slam Man™ Elite Performance modular tiles, renowned for their strength, smooth surface and professional playability. The design combined a charcoal blue base, accented with blue and light blue sidelines, and finished with crisp white glow in the dark line marking for visibility in both daylight and evening sessions.

Every detail was measured and installed with precision, from the tile placement to the custom line markings. The result was a visually striking, UV stable surface that felt as premium as it looked.
