DFFH Upgrades Recreation Area with Two Custom Multi Sports Courts
Safe, inclusive and engaging recreation spaces designed for all ages
The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) in Shepparton partnered with Sports Courts Victoria to deliver two custom Slam Man multi sports courts designed to create safe, inclusive and engaging recreation spaces for children and young people of different age groups.
The project required durable, low maintenance and visually engaging play areas that would encourage physical activity, social interaction and positive community participation while delivering long term performance in a high use environment.
Sports Courts Victoria designed and installed two custom Slam Man courts using our premium Slam Man Pro cushioned tile system, creating versatile multi use recreation spaces built for comfort, safety and year round play.
The first court was a 4m x 7m modified basketball court featuring a red key with black outer. Designed specifically for younger children, this space also incorporated a custom hopscotch layout to support early childhood play, movement, coordination and interactive learning in a fun and safe environment.
The second court was a larger 4m x 8m basketball court, also finished with a red key and black outer design. Built for older children and teenagers, this court included a four square game layout, providing multiple recreational activities within the one space while encouraging teamwork, group participation and social engagement.
