Cottage by the Sea, Queenscliff

At the stunning seaside location of Cottage by the Sea in Queenscliff, Victoria, Sports Courts Victoria was proud to deliver a vibrant new outdoor court that brings more opportunities for fun and connection to the charity’s much-loved facility. Completed in April 2024, this 145m² basketball and pickleball court transformed a worn-down play area into a modern, multi-use space for children.

Fast, cost-effective basketball and pickleball court installation in Queenscliff

The original surface was a rough mix of aged concrete and asphalt — no longer safe or fit for use. Rather than removing or rebuilding the base, our team used Slam Man sport court tiles, which are designed to be installed directly over existing surfaces. This saved time and reduced costs without compromising quality or performance.

We used a bold combination of light blue and blue court tiles, which now stand out beautifully against the backdrop of Bass Strait. The court includes white line marking for both a full-size basketball court and a regulation pickleball court, maximising use of the space for a wide range of activities.

A court built for the community

Cottage by the Sea runs life-changing programs for children, and we were honoured to contribute to a facility that gives so much to the local community. The refreshed court is now a safe, attractive and functional area that will see years of happy use.
